Dimitra Thliverou

Philologist · Researcher · Educator

Dimitra Thliverou is a philologist, psycholinguist, and PhD candidate at the University of Thessaly, where her research focuses on cinema and intercultural education. She studied Greek Philology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and completed postgraduate studies in Psycholinguistics at the University of Essex. She has worked in Greece and abroad in education, research and social inclusion, participating in European research projects and oral history initiatives. She currently works as an educator at ARSIS. Her research interests focus on cinema and education, critical media literacy, cultural representations, and oral history — and on the power of image and storytelling to create spaces for dialogue and meaningful encounters between different experiences and cultural identities.

Maria Theou

Educator · Artist

Maria Theou is an educator and artist. She studied Philology and Acting in Greece and completed postgraduate studies in Cultural Education in Amsterdam. She has participated in international conferences, residencies, and seminars in Greece, the United Kingdom, Japan and elsewhere, focusing on education, culture and the use of the arts as tools for learning, expression and critical analysis. She has worked in education, in European research projects on memory and oral history, as a curator, and on various artistic projects. She has organized educational programmes using theatrical play in orphanages, children's hospitals, and reception and detention centres for migrants and refugees, and has developed an independent film club promoting contemporary Greek cinema. She firmly believes that the world can become a better place; she asks Santa Claus for it every year, and since she never finds it in her stocking — and because "if you can't find Spring, you create it" — we created this organization.

Artemis Dodopoulou

Educator · Designer

Artemis Dodopoulou is a language educator, researcher, and designer working at the intersection of education, architecture, and the arts. With a background in linguistics and language education, she has worked with children and adults in Greece and abroad, teaching Greek and English and developing educational materials and learning experiences that combine language, culture, and creativity. Alongside education, she works with design, architecture, and visual arts. Her research interests include gender, inclusion, educational practices, cultural education, museums, digital tools, and creative approaches to learning. She believes education can be creative, that design is a form of communication, and that the most interesting ideas are often born somewhere in between.
